There only seem to be a few restaurant names in the universe, and they are by necessity repeated over and over. For example, I can think of Thai restaurants named Sawatdee (spelling variant?) and The King and I in St. Paul, Minnesota.

This all ties in with my theory that all Ethiopian restaurants must be named one of the following:
(1) The Red Sea
(2) The Blue Nile
(3) Queen of Sheba

Truly, one of the best things about having a blog is being able to diss the restaurants that truly deserve a dissing. So diss duly noted.

Yes, the murders are terrible, awful, and I imagine they must be even more so for you, based on what you write. There was a segment on the news up here last night in which a reporter interviewed one of the girls who later was killed. He was asking her why she had gone out (to work) and was she aware of how dangerous it was. She just kept saying 'I need the money' and 'It could be anybody'. Very chilling.

Jamie, I think those names count for Egyptian restaurants too, not that I've ever seen any Egyptian restaurants anywhere other than Egypt...

Alda, I have to think of some more places to slag off. ;)
And yeah, Mrs Timbo told me about that interview with the girl before she was killed. Based on this I can confidently declare that it is a really shitty world we live in.

Sawadee has been crossed off the list of e-luv recommended Thai restaurants.

Do you think it's possible for a newspaper to publish an article on the Suffolk murders without mentioning what the victims did for a living?
